Hi, my name is Lauren, I'm 22 and I live in Scotland. I first became interested in Inazuma Eleven just before the first game was released in the UK, when I saw an early review in a magazine. I realised it was made by the people who make Professor Layton, and I was intrigued, so I picked up a copy of the game and I've been hooked ever since!
I've been making my way gradually through the anime, and I'm currently 19 episodes into GO!. I haven't read the manga yet - I'm hoping for an English-language release, because I understand only 3 chapters have been translated.
I've also just started watching Danball Senki, after discovering that it had a link to Inazuma Eleven (through Zaizen Sosuke).
My favourite character is Tachimukai Yuuki.

Hey hey. Hasty Exit here. I'm 21 and living in England. Saw the post on GameFAQs advertising this board, so thanks for making it. Hopefully things pick up around here, since I think you mentioned in a different post that there's a sad lack of English language fansites for this series, which is definitely true. Football's bigger in the rest of Europe, I guess, probably because they play it better!
I saw a review of the first game up on the site Nintendo Life ages ago, and the weird concept of a football-based RPG got stuck in my head ever since, as I'm a fan of RPGs. When Christmas rolled around I asked for it on a whim, and it's by far the game I played most over Christmas. I even got the newest Layton game (by the same company, as was pointed out) and I've been neglecting it in favour of this.
My experience with the series only extends to the original DS game, I'm afraid, since I haven't really seen the anime at all. I may end up doing so, though, and I'm definitely getting the second game, which I've heard is coming out in the first quarter of the year. Supposedly it has two different versions?
Anyway, nice meeting you and anyone else who shows up.

Hi everyone. I came here because I wanted to join a forum to be able to talk to people about Inazuma Eleven who actually know about it (I'm really active on Neo Ark Cradle for Yugioh and Vanguard fans but no one appears to watch Inazuma over there - shame!).
I got into Inazuma last year when Disney XD started showing the dub. I could tell it was quite bad but still got hooked on the series and looked up the Japanese stuff and am now quite obsessed. I've watched all the episodes of both series so far and am only yet to see the Go movie. I've played the first DS game and am attempting the second in Japanese (even though I don't speak the language!!).
My favourite characters in the original are Kazemaru and Gouenji jointly (I can't decide who I like the most), closely followed by Kidou. In Go my favourite character by far is Ishido (I bet you'd never guessed!!) whom I absolutely adore and has quickly become one of my all time favourite anime characters.
Anyway, I hope more people join the forum and it turns into a great place for fans to hang out and chat.

yo everyone
Im 19 and from north east England got into Inazuma a couple of months ago and iv been hooked since. iv got the original and fire storm. i havnt seen the anime but im trying to find English versions of the manga.
Im not really keyed up on the Japanese names but plan on figuring them out at some point.

This thread is old but I guess I'll also introduce myself.
Name's Emypony (Emy for short) and I think I got into Inazuma Eleven while GO: Galaxy was still getting aired. (I remember because when I got to the end of it, the last couple of eps weren't subbed and I had to wait for them.) Not a big fan of football but seeing this on TV once got me hooked, and I actually played a bit in middle school. Would definitely be more interested if we could do all the cool stuff like they do ^^'
My favorite character in IE is Kazemaru and from GO it's totally Tsurugi and Tenma (who could say no to that face?). I currently have no one to talk to about this anime and I'd greatly love if I had some friends. This place seems like the only actual IE legit forums (even if it is kinda deserted)
I'm genuinely curious if there's anyone else over here?
