MS Outlook includes the ‘Import / Export’ option by which you can extract emails from Outlook OST file to PST file when the users are connected to Exchange Server.

Follow these steps to extract emails from Outlook:

1: Launch Microsoft Outlook in the offline mode.

2: Go to File tab>>select Open & Export followed by Import/Export.

3: The Import and Export Wizard will open up on the local machine.

4: Click on Export to a File, and then Outlook data file (.pst).

5: Select the desired OST folders and hit on Next tab.

6: Choose the location where you have to save the data and click on Finish button.

After implementing these steps, the messages will be exported to the newly generated PST file.

Then, you need to copy and transfer the mailbox from Outlook PST file to the server-based mailbox.
